Our Studio is excited to share our beautifully curated collection of one-of-a-kind Turkish rugs along with broad collection of specialty lighting.
Having come from the interior design profession with a focus on branded environments in both higher education and in workplace design, it is my expression as a designer to create meaningful space. Space that allows people to connect with impactful details in design.
Loom & Wire is a creative concept paring two of our favorite design details... lighting and rugs! We are happy to guide clients in any phase of the design process. Whether it is helping source a one-of-a-kind rug or offering a high level of expertise in lighting layout and installation.

Wired Collaborative offers one-of-a-kind Turkish - Oushaks along with a handful of Indo - Oushaks. Within each warp and weft, there is a handwoven story defined by a unique design named from the specific region of Turkey in which the rug was made. These designs and even colors combinations define not only cultural milestones but the maker themselves.
Wired believes in the nature of design being a collaborative process whether we are working with fabricators on a custom lighting design or finding a client the perfect rug for their project. We would love the opportunity to work with any client!
Loom & Wire offers one-of-a-kind, imported Turkish rugs. Our studio believes that within each warp and weft, there is a handwoven story defined by a unique design named from the specific region of Turkey in which the rug was made. These designs and even colors combinations define not only cultural milestones but the maker themselves.
Our collection of rugs has reach… we have the ability to work directly with both contacts in Turkey and Atlanta to curate a variety of bespoke pieces for any client need. Our rugs are sourced from all over Anatolia (Turkey) with designs that are unique to their specific regions. These regional designs are defined by specific motifs, patterns, and colors uniquely representative to each area of Eastern, Central, and Western Turkey:
Eastern: Kars,Herki
East Anatolian rugs are usually not attributed to a specific location but are historically classified according to their tribal provenience. As the Kurdish andYürük tribes were living as nomads for most of their history, they tended to weave traditional tribal, rather than any local, design.
Central: Varosh, Tula,Sivas,Kirsehnir,Burunduz, Bor
Rugs from the Central Region often show an elaborate prayer rug design, with a monochrome bright deeper red field. Also typical is a broad ornamental main border with detailed, floral patterns paired with two smaller thinner borders.
Western: Yuntdag, Turkish-Oushak, Overdyed Ousha,Tula, Guney, Ezine,Cal
Western Anatolian rugs often show a bright brick red and lighter red colors mixed with white accents. Green and yellow tones are more frequently seen in this area. The wefts are often dyed red withthe selvages reinforced over 3-4 warp cords. The ends of the rug are often protected by flat weavekilims containing a small ornament woven in pile.
